How to clear your
RedM NUI cache
What is NUI?
NUI stands for Network User Interface and pertains to anything where your character interacts with the game through menus and loading screens, etc.
Similar to clearing your RedM cache, clearing your NUI resolves "sticky issues" with menu functions, character selector not loading properly, etc. All of these may cause high ping!
If you know your PC is up-to-date with GPU and Windows drivers, and you've recently cleared your RedM cache and restarted your PC, but you are getting high ping warnings in the server, follow the instructions below to clear your NUI...it will most likely resolve your issues.
When is clearing your RedM NUI cache important?
When you are getting high ping warnings.Â
When menu options don't work even after clearing your cache and rebooting your PC.
When your character doesn't load in properly (invisible or other weirdness).
When your character selector not loading in properly.
How to clear your RedM NUI cache:
On your PC, browse to location: C:\Users\<yourName>\AppData\Local\RedM\RedM.app\data
Delete ONLY the red folders circled in the image shown.
After clearing the NUI cache, restart your PC.
When you launch RedM, you will be prompted to sign back into your CFX account.
When you connect to WiSH, it will download the inventory cache.
